Dart's response to COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is a global crisis on an unprecedented scale. At Dart, our collective priority is protecting the health and safety of our people and our community, while continuing daily business operations as best we can.

As the virus continues to have an impact on human health and global economies, Dart is closely monitoring advice and guidelines from the Cayman Islands Government and international health authorities.

Per the Cayman Islands Government’s directions on 24 March 2020, Dart is taking the following steps:

  • Dart’s Development team is closing all construction sites and tenant fit-outs effective immediately (24 March) until further notice.

  • As at 5 p.m. on 24 March, Dart’s non-essential retail businesses will halt operations until further notice. This list includes: Island Companies, Books & Books, and the North Sound Golf Club.

  • As at 4 p.m. on 24 March, our corporate offices will be closed until further notice. Our staff will continue working remotely and offer service to our clients and business partners through the technology and communications tools available to us. Our collective priority now is to stay home in order to keep our community safe.

As the local and global situation concerning the virus is dynamic and evolves daily, Dart continues to monitor updates and will adjust policies as needed.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone in our community to stay home and to take all recommended precautions to safeguard our health and prevent spreading the virus.
