Joanne Lawson serves as the Chief of Staff and Chief Administrative Officer at Dart Enterprises Ltd. in the Cayman Islands. Her dual role ensures strategic alignment across the organisation, streamlines decision making and promotes collaboration across the business. She provides oversight and guidance on key projects for Dart and ensures coordination between Dart’s people and business objectives.
Jo facilitates collaborative decision-making across Dart’s many industries and leads enterprise programmes based on Dart’s Values, Culture and Philosophy.
Jo attended Portsmouth University, where she received her Master of Science in Human Resource Management, and she holds a diploma in Hospitality Management. She is also the current Chamber of Commerce President. A past Rotarian, Jo participates in charitable fundraisers focused on supporting and empowering the lives of young people in the community and is a director on the board of Code(Cayman).
Jo lives in the Cayman Islands with her husband and sons. In her spare time, she loves boating on the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea, travelling the world and spending quality time with her family.
Jo has been with the company for 20 years, holding multiple positions across the business as it grew operations in the Cayman Islands including Executive Assistant, Business Development Manager, Senior Manager, Organisational Development and Administration of Dart Enterprises, Senior Property Manager of Dart Realty Cayman Ltd and Vice President, Organisation Development and Culture of Dart Enterprises Ltd.
