Jade Wilkinson

Class of 2023

Vassar College, USA

Mathematics & Statistics and Economics

As a double major in Mathematics & Statistics and Economics, Jade enjoys working with data and its interpretations. Achieving a goal she set herself as a senior in high school, she was awarded the title of Ford Scholar by Vassar College last year. Post-graduation, Jade worked at Dart, where she created a wage structuring model and then accepted an offer to work at KPMG as an advisory associate with plans to transfer to their Chicago office in May. She is an accomplished tennis player, starting as a junior at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club before moving to the US to further her athletic pursuits.

Vassar has taught me how to think about my social responsibility by critically considering the effects that my actions and knowledge have on the people and environments around me.

Jade's highlights

  • Ford Scholar, Vassar College Economics Department research assistant
  • Varsity women’s tennis team, Vassar College
  • Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative

As a Ford Scholar, Jade spent the summer of her junior year studying the generational economic consequences of childhood exposure to environmental toxins using 200 years of archival data and was invited to present her findings to senior academics. At Dart, her favourite internship again put her analytical skills to good use when worked as the Business Performance Manager Assistant to assess salary divisions and compensations across the organisation.

As a Dart Scholar, Jade enjoyed enrichment trips that gave her the opportunity to make lasting friends at Stanford, learn about engineering at Niagara Falls and explore an early interest in psychology at Oxford University.
