Mechanical Engineering

Andrew is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. He graduated from Cayman Prep & High School, where he was a prefect, and he has represented the Cayman Islands in the North American Roller Hockey Championships. He enjoys freediving and scuba diving, has his private pilot’s license and holds an IYT Small Powerboat certification. At Cornell, Andrew plans to continue playing club hockey and looks forward to taking part in other clubs and activities on campus.

Andrew has completed internships at KPMG, assisting with IT hardware rollouts, and at Cayman Islands Roller Hockey, where he refereed games and coached young players.

Andrew’s future goals include using his strengths in STEM to work on projects that positively impact society and drive innovation. He hopes to maintain a healthy work-life balance and eventually return to Cayman to create opportunities for himself and others. He is looking forward to benefitting from a well-connected network of past and present Dart Scholars who can share their experiences with him and help guide him in the decisions he will make as he builds his career.
