The paid work experience programme accepts approximately 15 young Caymanians who are recent graduates of secondary or tertiary educational programmes an opportunity to receive training in several areas across each of the hotels.
Collaboration brings opportunity
We have partnered with Boca Raton, Florida-based Lynn University to enhance the syllabus of the Dart Hospitality Training Programme.
As part of the collaboration, a faculty member from Lynn University’s hospitality programme will be delivering two weeks of valuable curriculum. This allows participants to get training from an accredited institution to bolster the already attractive learning opportunities across Dart’s portfolio of hotels, including Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman and Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman.
We are seeking ambitious and flexible young Caymanians, who have obtained a minimum of a high school diploma. Full-time employment opportunities will be considered for team players who excel within this programme. Receive firsthand experience at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Hampton by Hilton or Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. The three-month programme begins in late spring and is broken down into three phases:
Successful team players will allow trainees to apply for a full-time position to one of the three participating hotels at the end of the three months of training.
Are you a Caymanian resident of Cayman Brac ages 17 - 30 interested in a career in hospitality? Apply now for this unique three-month training opportunity designed to provide participants with exposure across a variety of departments throughout Dart’s Farm Inn, Le Soleil d’Or.
We are seeking young, ambitious Caymanians with flexible availability (evenings, weekends), who have obtained a minimum of a high school diploma and have basic computing skills.
The two candidates selected for this opportunity will receive a stipend and those who successfully complete the internship will be considered for full-time employment opportunities at Le Soleil d’Or.
The Dart Hospitality Educators Programme
For Teachers
Do you teach a Hospitality and Tourism class to university students or students in years 11 and 12?
The one-week immersion programme aims to provide hospitality educators seeking professional development to integrate real-world examples into their teaching methods in order to prepare their students for successful careers in hospitality and tourism.
This hands-on approach will be delivered at participating Dart hotels and will provide educators with a better understanding of the technology, processes, skills and competencies employers expect and witness how theoretical knowledge is applied in practical settings.
